Industrial wastewater and paper-making wastewater have a large discharge. Black liquor produced by paper industry after pretreatment will be mixed with middle water for common treatment, thus increasing harmful substances of paper-making wastewater. Polyaluminium chloride for intermediate water treatment in paper-making increases the removal rates of COD and SS due to the increase of salinity, but decreases instead of increasing when the salinity reaches 75%. Polyaluminium chloride (PAC) with temperature of 250 C and 0.6GL added with salinity of 75% can make the effluent meet the national discharge standard. When polyaluminium chloride is used to treat paper wastewater, the price of polyaluminium chloride is low, and its sediment can also be returned to the paper making process as raw material without secondary pollution, which can also generate actual economic benefits. The experiment proves that under alkaline (pH 7-9) condition, when the dosage of coagulant is higher than 750 mgL, the removal rate of suspension can reach more than 95% and CODCr can be removed 20-50%.
Wastewater produced by domestic water and washing wastewater are treated. Oil and dust particles react with the interaction of surfactants in water, thus forming colloidal particles with negative charge, which are easy to be fixed and retained in water. Adding proper amount of PAC in wastewater will produce cations with positive charge and multi-core high charge complex ions, which can make the charges suspended on the surface of colloidal particles have the ability to absorb electricity and neutralize energy as well as to compress the double layer, thus destabilizing colloidal particles and separating water by adsorption and precipitation.
Printing and dyeing wastewater contains a lot of COD, PH value and color. Although the coagulation effect of PAC is good and the dosage is low, the application of PAC is limited due to its poor neutralization ability to high alkalinity of printing and dyeing wastewater. Using the complementary advantages of the two coagulants and the synergistic effect of the same ion effect, the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater can not only reduce the treatment cost, but also improve the treatment effect.
Oil-bearing wastewater treatment refers to oil-bearing wastewater discharged from oil fields, refineries and petrochemical plants. It can be treated with oil segregation, air floatation and biochemistry. The combination of modified cationic polyacrylamide and polyaluminium chloride has obvious treatment effect. The relative molecular weight of modified cationic polyacrylamide should not be too high, and it is easy to combine with PAC to achieve ideal results.
