Difference between industrial grade polyaluminum chloride and drinking grade polyaluminum chloride

Polyaluminum chloride is a polymer flocculant, which is widely used in water treatment and industrial wastewater treatment. Is industrial polyaluminum chloride the same as drinking polyaluminum chloride? What are the differences?

These two are different.

Pre industrial polyaluminum chloride is composed of polybasic carboxyl complexes with variable forms. It has fast flocculation and sedimentation speed, wide applicable pH range, no corrosion to pipeline equipment, and obvious water purification effect. It can effectively support the color SS, COD, BOD, arsenic, mercury and other heavy metal ions in water. This product is widely used in drinking water, industrial water and sewage treatment fields. The use of food polyaluminum chloride is as pure water disposal, drinking water disposal, tanning, medicine, cosmetics and fine forging. In particular, white polyaluminum chloride can also be used as sizing precipitant for paper making, decolorizing and brightening agent for sugar making, etc. Food white polyaluminum chloride is used in sizing, and the retention and drainage effects of the slurry are also significantly improved.

Secondly, the food is supervised by the provincial health supervision department. Because most of the rest of the food is used to supply urban tap water to the waterworks, it touches on food safety, so the supervision is relatively strict, and all enterprises have issued a water crossing Sanitation Permit. The rest of food can be used in any industry, but the rest of industry can only be used for industrial water disposal, industrial product additives, etc., but cannot be used in drinking water disposal and food addition.
