Difference between spray type polyaluminum chloride and ordinary type

Polyaluminum chloride, also known as basic aluminum chloride or coagulant, is an inorganic polymer coagulant. It is an inorganic polymer water treatment agent with large molecular weight and high charge produced due to the bridging action of hydroxide ions and the polymerization of multivalent anions.

Spray type polyaluminum chloride is only produced by spray drying process. Spray granulation is to atomize polyaluminum chloride into tiny particles while being dried. This type of granule has good application performance. Polyaluminum chloride is a water-soluble substance with good thermal stability and high solubility. In the drying process, polyaluminum chloride solution with a solid content of 40% - 50% is introduced into a high-pressure pump, and is atomized by the atomizer in the dryer after being pressurized. It is dispersed into tiny mist droplets. After the mist droplets are dried, granular products are obtained, so that drying and granulation can be completed at the same time.

Since the products obtained by pressure spray drying are porous particles or hollow particles, the purpose of pressure spray drying is to obtain granular products, and the obtained granular products have excellent dust-proof performance and fluidity. Due to the large contact area between the product and water, the wettability is better than that of powder products. The speed of purifying water is significantly higher than that of powder products. The products dried by pressure spray have unique characteristics.
