Polyaluminium chloride is abbreviated as PAC in English. It is an inorganic macromolecule water treatment agent. Pure white grade is gold-yellow or white, industrial grade is reddish-brown. Polyaluminium chloride is an effective water purifier widely used at home and abroad, with the advantages of small amount of water, small amount of sludge and high efficiency.
If polyaluminium chloride is not used properly, the total consumption will increase, including the consumption of sulfuric acid which regulates the pH value of the coagulation and the consumption of alkali lime. The use method of PAC is closely related to the nature of source water, i.e. it is necessary to make on-site modulation according to different water quality. Use method and concentration ratio of yellow polyaluminium chloride:
Before use, beaker test should be carried out according to water quality to screen the dosage. Solid products need to be dissolved and diluted before being put into service. The dilution ratio is usually 2-5% (diluted according to alumina content) and the dilution amount is determined according to water quality. After the stirring is completely dissolved, the dosage determined by beaker coagulation test shall be added. Liquid products can be delivered either directly or diluted. The dilution ratio of liquid products is 2-5% (diluted by alumina content).
Method of use and concentration ratio of white polyaluminium chloride:
White polyaluminium chloride is mainly used in paper sizing. Solid products are formulated into liquids with a content of 10%. The liquid of 1.5-3.0% is added to the slurry to be sized and mixed sufficiently with the slurry. The amount calculated as dry paper is 2%-3%.
Method of use and concentration ratio of spray-type PAC:
Before use, the solid product is decomposed into liquid by 1:3 water and diluted into required concentration by 10-30 times clear water. The dosage can be determined according to the different turbidity of raw water. When the turbidity of raw water is 100-500 mg/L, the dosage is 10-20 kg per kiloton.
