Advantages of Polyaluminium Chloride Flocculant

Polyaluminium chloride (PAC) is a commonly used water treatment chemical. It is mainly used as a flocculant to collect small suspended particles into large particles in water for filtration and separation. PAC is widely used in sewage treatment, tap water treatment and industrial water treatment, and its effect is widely recognized.

PAC is usually prepared by reacting raw materials such as aluminium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid in an autoclave to produce polyaluminium chloride. The use of PAC is also simple. PAC is added into water and reacts with suspended substances in water to form flocculent, which aggregates suspended substances in water into larger particles for easy sedimentation or filtration. Too little dosage may not achieve good flocculation effect, and too much dosage will cause waste.
