Polyaluminium chloride is an inorganic macromolecule coagulant widely used in water treatment. Preparation method:

There are two main preparation methods of PAC: one is to obtain solid PAC by reaction of aluminate with hydrochloric acid, and then to get liquid PAC after dissolving with water; The other is solid polyaluminium chloride obtained by reaction of aluminium metal with hydrochloric acid.

Characteristic:

Polyaluminium chloride is a colorless to yellowish, transparent to slightly turbid liquid or solid material, which is strong acidic, soluble in water and has good cohesiveness and precipitation. Compared with other water treatment agents, PAC has the advantages of fast coagulation speed, good coagulation effect, small dosage and little influence on water quality.
