Polyferric sulfate is a high polymer of iron salt, which has the advantages of high polymer with the characteristics of iron salt. A large number of complex cations and positive charge ions are produced after hydrolysis of Polyferric sulfate, which can rapidly neutralize with negative charge colloidal particles in water, destabilize them, collide with each other and aggregate them. In addition, the formed ferric ions can not only have the ability to bond and precipitate pollutants in wastewater, but also compress the double layer to achieve better coagulation effect. The formed iron hydroxide and its derivatives have strong adsorption and can rapidly absorb and settle suspended pollutants, insoluble COD and other substances in food and beverage wastewater. Its COD treatment rate can reach more than 90%. In addition, the pigments in food waste water can be reduced.
