Polyaluminium chloride is a yellow or light yellow, dark brown, dark grey resin-like solid. The product has strong bridging adsorption performance, accompanied by physical and chemical processes such as condensation, adsorption and precipitation during hydrolysis.
Oily sewage has a wide range of sources and will be produced in steel smelting, industrial production, oil extraction, pesticides and food processing. These petroleum pollutants mainly exist in four forms: dissolved oil, dispersed oil, floating oil and emulsified oil. Usually, in the sewage treatment process, oil and water are separated from oily sewage first, and then further separated by coagulation or flotation. Polyaluminium chloride and polyacrylamide should be added quantitatively to ensure adequate flocculation and coagulation. The process flow can avoid oil blockage in the treatment unit and give full play to the oil removal performance of each unit.
Polyaluminium chloride coagulation is mainly used to separate fine suspended oil particles and colloidal oil particles from oily sewage. Firstly, a certain amount of chemical substance is added into oily sewage to make it react sufficiently, and then coagulate gradually into flocculent or relatively stable mixture; After that, we will add coagulants to the sewage so that the gum oil particles in the raw sewage are no longer negatively charged but electrically neutral and the flocculent polymer or stable mixture will sink slowly. This result is also based on repeated tests, and its high cost-performance ratio plays an important role in water treatment.
